Getting Started:

PC Setup:
- Software Installation
- Start DisplayShare application
- Double-click on DisplayShare application. Change parameters if
desired. Click OK. (More Info ...)
PS3 Setup:
- Make sure that the PS3 is connected to the same
network as the PC.
- Best performance is obtained by optimizing
your network configuration. See the
Network
Optimization page for more details
- Turn On PlayStation 3
- Use game controller or PS3 Remote to go to
Video and select DisplayShare icon with game
controller.
(See Image 1 below).
- You should then see a
preview of the user's display PS3.
(See
Image 2 below). Select the preview to
initiate wireless streaming from the PC to the
PS3.
Streaming audio, music, webpages, and video:
- You should now be able to run DisplayShare and
link your PC to your home entertainment system.
DisplayShare can stream music, audio, video and more to your PS3.
- The stream can be configured through the system tray icon.
(See Image 3 below).
- To stream video, configure the stream to disable
Full Screen mode and enable Optimize for video. Once the DisplayShare
window appears, size the window over the video of
interest. For best performance, use a small region
of the PC display.

Troubleshooting:

If DisplayShare is installed on the PC, then the user's
PC icon is shown on the PS3 welcome screen.
